Disguised behind a tie, the camera measures 8 x 18 cm, with a thickness of around 6 mm. The 25 mm focal length lens is concealed behind a fake horseshoe-shaped jewel intended to simulate a tie pin. This lens sits atop a cone containing a shutter that is triggered by a pear hidden in the jacket. The plates are changed by means of a button, located under the lens, which drives a chain on which the plate holders are fixed. Six 25 mm square plates can thus be made. The camera comes with three ties of different designs (...). Visuals and texts "Autour d'une collection2 " Collection JMP Club Niépce Lumière, p. 149. Expert Isabelle Cazeils. Provenance: Jean-Marie PRADES Collection. Spy camera.
