With bag, bellows camera "L'Alpiniste" E. Enjalbert Paris, with aplanatic lens, 9 x 12, circa 1886. As is. N.B. Jean-Marie PRADES: (...) This camera is designed for quick set-up and snapshots without the usual handling worries. There's no need to focus, the print is fixed and sharpness is achieved from 10 m. (...) The mountaineer can transform himself into a detective, for which Mr. Enjalbert has designed a wooden box in which the camera is housed, in the shape of a "postal parcel", as this accessory is known. In this way, you can take photographs without being noticed, and surprise the person you're aiming at. Visuals and text "Autour d'une collection2 " Collection JMP Club Niépce Lumière, p. 81.
