This collection, composed of a selection of exceptional pieces, was built up by the businessman over a period of more than thirty years, notably to serve as the decor for the Hôtel de Cavoye, his place of residence in Paris from 1986 to 2021.

This exclusive auction will offer approximately 180 lots dating mainly from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Demonstrating the high standards, curiosity and French art of living of a man of a thousand lives, this exceptional collection of antique paintings, furniture and objets d'art, lighting and carpets has been the subject of dedicated expert appraisals for the occasion.

Legal buyer's fees : 14,28% TTC

This public auction will be conducted under the direction of Estelle NGUYEN-HONG, auctioneer at ARTUS ENCHERES l SELARL ALLEMAND NGUYEN-HONG.

For her, "the success of this sale, which falls within a legal framework*, will of course be demonstrated by the interest aroused by the exceptional pieces presented, but it will only be effective if this sale and its organization are conducted in a serene manner and with the strictest respect for the persons mentioned".

*This auction follows the orders of the Commercial Courts of Paris and Bobigny in the context of the judicial liquidation ordered against Bernard Tapie.

Method of payment:

Payment is expressly made in cash. It must be made immediately after the sale.

Lots are sold in euros and include all taxes.
